My Birthday Cake
Here is a picture of my AMAZING birthday cake from Net and Gary! I was so surprised with the cake and a little "morning tea" with a few guests too! I feel so blessed to have found such an amazing family that contributes and shares this experience with me! They even included my baby Tuck Tuck on it! :)

Long Overdue...
So, I've obviously been very busy! But the big news over here are the insane FLOODS! There has been so much (constant really) rain that floods are happening all over Queensland. Luckily, we are a ways from the Brisbane River, so it shouldn't affect the house I'm living in. Please though, say MANY prayers for these people, I've never seen something like this and so many people are losing everything they have!
On a lighter note, I have gotten to travel a good bit and see a lot of Brisbane over the past few weeks. We went to the Gold Coast last week and luckily had a few pretty days that I got to spend on the beach! I also got to go to Coolangata and Point Danger...right inside NSW. I've been really blessed to be able to tag along with the Hutchins family (who I work for) and "work" while doing all this! Check out the pictures on Facebook!
I'm getting really acclimated and learning my way around really well...I have done pretty well getting to know the public transportation system and it's actually nice and relaxing to take that instead of fight people on the roads!
I got a library card! YIPPEE! I just finished reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and loved it! Can't wait to get my hands on the second book!
Zane is planning to come out the first week of March and we're talking about taking our first trip up to New Zealand...I'm so excited and cannot wait to finally see him! I miss everyone else too :)
A lot of nights I'm so exhausted and just don't want to do anything but lay in bed and read or watch TV. Hence, why my blog hasn't been updated! We did go out Friday night for my birthday though! We went to a restaurant called Garuva in Fortitude Valley. I highly recommend it (mostly because of the atmosphere!) to anyone planning a trip to Brisbane!
I'll try to do better on keeping everyone updated! Love you all!
